The project had been progressing through the administrative process for several months. On May 8, 2026, Zaragoza City Council initially approved the procurement file and launched the procedure to select the company responsible for carrying out the works, with a planned completion period of ten months. Now, after completing the award process, the project has a contractor ready to begin the work.
FIRMEZA SOLUTIONS WILL CARRY OUT THE WORKS
Three companies submitted bids for a contract with an initial budget of 1,491,262.21 euros, including VAT. Ultimately, the municipal procurement committee deemed Firmeza Solutions' bid the most economically advantageous and awarded the works to the company for 1,265,707.37 euros. The project also includes an improvement to the warranty terms, which have been extended to fifteen months.
Urban Planning official Víctor Serrano said the park is “highly sought after” by residents and will bring significant change to this part of Oliver, both from an urban perspective and in terms of everyday use.
The space between Antonio Leyva and Jerónimo Cáncer streets will feature new green areas that will help renew the appearance of this part of the neighborhood and add a new open space in an area currently awaiting development. “If the planned timetable is met, the new Camisera park could be ready within ten months of the works beginning,” Serrano said.
