The New Romareda is gradually leaving plans and renderings behind to become a visible reality. Elements such as the South End, the East Stand and the North End are already outlining part of the future stadium's structure, while the Skywalk, one of the project's most distinctive features, is also beginning to take shape. The stadium will have a capacity of 43,110 spectators, with August 31, 2027, remaining the scheduled completion date for the works.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
The visit to the New Romareda will be one of the highlights of Open House Zaragoza, which will be held from September 24 to 27 and will provide free access to spaces that are not usually open to the public. This year's activities will also include entry to the crypt beneath La Seo's Parroquieta chapel, a visit to the Air Base to see the F-18s, a tour of work being carried out on the Water Tower and the chance to discover lesser-known areas of CaixaForum.
Bookings for the festival's other activities opened this Monday at 4 p.m. through the official Open House Zaragoza website. The third edition will once again offer an opportunity to explore some of the most distinctive buildings, facilities and spaces in Zaragoza and its surrounding area from the inside, with the New Romareda among the main attractions of a program that has already demonstrated the interest it generates among Zaragoza residents.
