The sighting took place late this Friday at the Arán bar-cafeteria, where José and Miguel came across Rosita. They decided to follow the bird while contacting Aimar to let her know they had found the parrot. They were eventually able to recover her and return her to her family.
Aimar explained that the people who found Rosita searched online for information about a lost parrot in Zaragoza and came across the report published by ARAGÓN DIGITAL, which explained how to identify her and what to do if someone managed to locate her.

“Thank you so much to everyone who shared the search. Thank you so much, truly. I can’t thank you enough,” Aimar said in the video she posted on social media, still visibly emotional about the outcome. “Let’s see if I can calm down because I’m still very nervous,” she added while showing Rosita by her side.
The search for Rosita mobilized family members, neighbors and social media users throughout Friday after the parrot escaped from a home on Calle José Oto. Aimar had explained that it was the first time the bird had flown away and asked neighbors to keep an eye on balconies, trees and other places where she might have taken shelter.
The happy ending was made possible by those who shared the search, the people who watched for possible sightings and, finally, José and Miguel, who located Rosita and raised the alarm. The ARAGÓN DIGITAL report also enabled the people who found her to quickly identify her as the missing parrot.
