Organized by the Zaragoza Firefighters’ Cultural and Sports Association, the race will begin at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Fire Station and cover some of the most iconic landmarks in the Aragonese capital over its 10-kilometer course.
In addition to setting a participation record, what makes this edition special is the tribute and remembrance of Javier García, a member of the Military Emergency Unit, and Juan Luis Alonso, a Zaragoza Provincial Council firefighter, who died this summer while carrying out firefighting duties.
ROUTE AND BIB PICKUP
The race will start at 9:30 a.m. from the Fire Station on Calle Violante de Hungría. The first kilometers of the course will pass through Calle Bretón, El Carmen Church, Plaza José María Forqué and Plaza de Santo Domingo. From there, runners will head to the Voluntariado Bridge, where the refreshment station will be located.
The second section of the race will pass by the Bridge Pavilion, the Congress Center, the Spain Pavilion and the Almozara Bridge before finishing at Macanaz Park.
Bib pickup will take place on Saturday the 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Hypostyle Hall of the capital’s Auditorium.
