The Zaragoza side, which competes in Segunda Federación, the third tier of Spanish women's football behind Liga F and Primera Federación, reaches this fixture after opening the season with a win over Villaviciosa in the first round and playing a demanding Aragonese Copa derby against Huesca this Tuesday, with Huesca winning on penalties. The objective now is to bring that excitement to Mudéjar and feel Zaragoza's support from the first day.
"We knew this start to the season was going to present us with important challenges. We are going to face all of them with tremendous excitement and great desire," explained Lucía Fuertes, one of Zaragoza CFF's captains. The player also encouraged supporters to attend the match this Sunday: "We want to show from the very first moment at home everything this team is capable of doing. That is why we are encouraging our supporters to come to Mudéjar, join us, and get to know and enjoy this team. Their support is going to be very important to us."

MUSIC AND GIFTS
In addition to the football itself, with the match taking place, the event will feature music and gifts for some of the first supporters to arrive, as well as two special guests. David García, known as 'The Voice of La Romareda' and Real Zaragoza's longtime stadium announcer, will serve as master of ceremonies, while Nuria Mallada, a former Zaragoza CFF player and captain and a three-time world champion in sport fishing, will take the ceremonial kick-off before the game.
After the match, the players will remain at the stadium to meet supporters, sign autographs and shirts, and spend a few minutes with their fans. Club merchandise will also be available during the event, as the club hopes the start of the new campaign will be felt in the stands as well.
