The match started in the worst possible way for Jorge Palos’ side. Just a few seconds had passed when a mistake while playing out from the back led to the opening goal. Wanapix were uncomfortable during the first half, and L84 were the better team. The Italian side controlled the match and took advantage of their chances to extend their lead, with two more goals making it 0-3 before halftime.
Wanapix improved after the break. The team stepped up and managed to play closer to the opposition goal. A move involving Brasesco resulted in a penalty committed by the L84 goalkeeper, and Célio Coque took responsibility from the spot to make it 1-3. Jorge Palos’ side tried to use the goal to get back into the match, but L84 gave them no chance of a comeback. Two more goals from the Italian team secured the final 1-5 scoreline.
WANAPIX ALDELÍS BEGIN WITH DEFEAT
Wanapix Aldelís were unable to earn points on their return to the Primera División. The Zaragoza side lost 0-3 to Poio Pescamar in an intense match in which they paid the price for their inexperience as newcomers to the division. The Zaragoza team showed no fear of the league and created chances to take the lead in the opening minute. However, efforts from Marina, Marta and Ibáñez either went narrowly wide or were saved by Elena. Little by little, Poio grew into the match and Laura Sánchez opened the scoring from a set piece.

Set pieces were proving a headache for Nano Modrego’s side, and Lucía Gómez scored the second after a free-kick routine. Just before halftime, a poor clearance condemned the Zaragoza team to a 0-3 deficit. Laura Sánchez was left alone at the penalty spot and made no mistake to put Poio 0-3 ahead before the break.
midway through the second half, Wanapix Aldelís produced an attacking surge. Marina sent the ball over the bar from a set-piece move, and the team had a three-on-one opportunity after winning possession in midfield but could not finish it decisively. In the closing stages, Poio came close to scoring a fourth, but Wanapix Aldelís once again made a huge effort to ensure the 0-3 scoreline remained unchanged.
