The Aragonese swimmer comfortably reached the final and clocked 2:34.28 in the decisive race, finishing behind Italy's Angela Procida, who was almost five minutes faster than the swimmer from Zaragoza and dominated the event.
Aragonese swimmers have won three medals, as María Delgado claimed silver on the first day of competition in the 100m butterfly. Zaragoza-born Jian Wang Escanilla is also competing in Turkey, hoping to win more medals for the Spanish team.
