The level score would not last long, as Cris Hernández appeared again, this time from the penalty spot, to put Huesca ahead. The match went into halftime with the score at 2-1.
In the second half, the Zaragoza side pushed forward in search of an equalizer, and in the 68th minute Elena Valej leveled the match with a superb free-kick. The 2-2 score sent the game to penalties to decide the winner of the first round. Huesca converted all six of its spot kicks, while Silvi's miss condemned Zaragoza to defeat.
The draw for the second round of the Copa de la Reina will take place this Friday at 11:00 a.m., as twelve teams still have to qualify from this opening round.
