His comments came after NH Capital, a Canadian investment group that acquired Zaragoza Women's Football Club this summer, sealed a strategic alliance with Casademont. The next step would be its incorporation into the ownership structure of Basket Zaragoza 2002, with approximately 25% of the shares, in a transaction expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
Despite this, the investment group's entry would take place through the acquisition of small stakes from current shareholders, meaning Reynaldo Benito would retain a majority share in the company. In addition to its financial contribution, NH Capital would bring the women's football club into the project, integrating it into the basketball organization's structure.
As a result, the management of both clubs would be coordinated, with Reynaldo Benito as president of Casademont and Manuel Abellán leading Zaragoza CFF, while their sporting departments would retain separate structures, with Pedro Llompart as the person in charge of basketball and Luis Aragón overseeing football.
