"The years I spent here were very good, and the club’s ambition has always been to keep growing. This year’s project follows that path, and I think they have put together a very good team. Being part of it is incredible," he said. He also added that he had followed the team in its first friendly against Ilerna Lleida and believes that "we have a lot of talent and offensive power. Now it is a matter of putting the pieces together, but the first impressions are very good."

He did not want to speculate too soon about the team’s objectives for the season. "The objective is to secure a place in European competition, and then we will see what happens in domestic competitions. It is all a matter of time, and if all the pieces fit perfectly, I think we can compete for it," he said.
BRUSSINO AND HIS RETURN
Brussino left in 2021, and after five years he said he bears little resemblance to the player who departed at the time. "I have changed a lot over these years, and I think that, apart from the experience that comes with age, I also know the league much better. Above all, I will bring that knowledge, which I did not have back then, and add all of it to the team," he added.
Although he will be one of the most experienced players on the roster, the Argentine does not see himself as a leader because, for him, what matters is "unity," since "we will all have our moment to be important." He also made clear how eager he is to play again in front of the Marea Roja because "they have always treated me very well whenever I have come here, and I am sure I will feel it a lot being here. I hope that moment arrives soon so I can be with them."
He was very clear about his role and what Gonzalo García de Vitoria has asked of him and what he can contribute. "He has asked me to try to play my game and contribute as much as I can to the team. The most important thing is to stay healthy so I can help in every way possible, and I really do not have any personal objectives. I try to help my teammates, but I do not look at my numbers," he concluded.
