"Hello Zaragoza, ¿how are you? I’m already here in the city and I’m very eager to join the team. So, see you soon. A hug," Brussino said on the club’s social media upon arriving in the Aragonese capital, to which he returns after five seasons playing for Gran Canaria.
During this latest international window, Brussino played two games for Argentina. The Albiceleste won the first against Puerto Rico 89-75, while they lost the second to Canada 97-92. Trae Bell-Haynes also played in that game and will likewise return to Zaragoza this week after being with the Canadian national team.
The point guard will be a key player for the new Casademont in running the offense, while also taking on a leadership and captaincy role in an almost entirely revamped locker room. Bell-Haynes has not yet arrived in the Aragonese capital, although his return is expected in the coming days so he can join his new teammates in training as soon as possible.

Robert Blumbergs will also join the team this week. The Latvian, who will be presented on Thursday at 10:00 a.m., has likewise been with his national team to play in the World Cup qualifiers, meaning he could not take part in the squad’s training camp in Benasque. His return will give Gonzalo García de Vitoria another of the new pieces in his project.
With these three arrivals, Casademont will have practically all its players available to prepare for the season, with the exception of Jilson Bango. The center will undergo surgery to definitively resolve his knee injury and then begin his recovery, the length of which will determine when he can join the rest of the team in training.
