The afternoon races brought the spectacle to the track, with the customary parallel starts and motocross jumps. Jordi Alba triumphed in MX125, Jana Sánchez won the Women’s MX category and Bruno Miró was victorious in Elite MX2, while José Antonio Butrón prevailed in a closely fought battle in the premier category, Elite MX1, ahead of Víctor Alonso and Gerard Congost.
The morning’s qualifying heats had already left fans who travelled to the MotorLand motocross circuit with positive impressions. Sunday’s schedule will bring the weekend to a close with the novelty of the Elf SuperSprint, scheduled for 1:40 p.m.
MOTORLAND’S PADDOCK PACKED WITH TEAMS AND RIDERS
The MotorLand Aragón Motocross circuit is completely full of teams from different parts of the country competing in the national championship. In fact, some of the teams are based in the International Karting area due to the number of participants.
All of this creates an atmosphere that fans can enjoy with free access to both the natural grandstands and the paddock, where they can see the motorcycles up close on their way to the track. In addition, the cafeteria located in the Autocross building has also opened its doors for the event.
Sunday’s schedule will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Elite MX1 and Elite MX2 Warm-Up sessions. At 9:50 a.m., it will be time for the Women’s MX Warm-Up, followed by the MX125 session at 10:05 a.m. The races will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the two Elite events. The Women’s MX race will take place at 12:05 p.m., followed by the MX125 race at 12:50 p.m. At 1:40 p.m., the Elf SuperSprint will bring the Spanish Motocross Championship weekend at MotorLand Aragón to a close.
