Sunday's program featured four races, including the Elf SuperSprint, a special-format event in which the final two riders are eliminated on each lap. José Antonio Butrón won Race 2 in Élite MX1, while Bruno Miró triumphed in Élite MX2.
In the other two categories, Jana Sánchez secured the double after also winning on Sunday in Women's MX, while Oleguer Riba took Race 2 in MX125. The unusual SuperSprint brought the racing to a close, with Gerard Congost winning in Élite MX1 and César Paine in Élite MX2.
MOTORLAND SPREADS THE ACTION ACROSS THREE CIRCUITS
The Bajo Aragón complex demonstrated its capacity and versatility by keeping three of its circuits active throughout the weekend. The motocross track, located in the off-road area, took center stage with the Spanish Motocross Championship.
The International Karting track also hosted open sessions for motorcycles and karts, while the speed circuit featured sessions organized by an external promoter. All three tracks kept their engines roaring throughout the weekend. Fans were therefore able to enjoy MotorLand's facilities throughout the event, with activity spread across different areas of the complex.
FIM MOTOJUNIOR, THE NEXT EVENT AT THE SPEED CIRCUIT
After the Spanish Motocross Championship, MotorLand Aragón is already looking ahead to FIM MotoJunior, the feeder series for MotoGP and WorldSBK, which will arrive at the speed circuit on September 26 and 27, with free admission for the public.
Open-session bookings for karts and motorcycles are also now available through the MotorLand Aragón website for September 24, 25, 26 and 27. At the Motocross circuit, online bookings for open sessions on September 26 and 27 will be available from Wednesday, September 23.
