"We want it to be a party closely linked to sport," organizer David Constante said of an event that aims to move away from fierce competition and ensure "that the youngest participants enjoy a very fun morning." One of the race's key features is that it is inclusive, allowing all children to feel that they are part of the event.
Registration is still open, and participation has surpassed that of the first edition, with around 120 runners registered and a maximum capacity of 200 places. Real Zaragoza will also be represented in the race, with a group including members of the club's Liga Genuine team taking part.
CATEGORIES AND DISTANCES
Boys and girls aged between 4 and 12 can take part in the race, with participants divided into groups separated by two-year age brackets. Children up to the age of 8 will run a distance of 400 meters, while those aged 9 to 12 will cover 800 meters.
The course will start at the vertical garden square on Delicias Street. The youngest runners will complete one lap along the central street, while the older participants will run two.
