The Zaragoza native is one of the few players remaining on the Salt Lake City team from last season and should be one of the key figures as they compete in a highly competitive Big 12. His half-season at Utah was marked by an ankle injury suffered on his debut, and he was able to play in only five games.
Langarita averaged 2.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists while playing an average of 12 minutes per game. Utah face a season in which they must improve on last year's 10-22 record, which made them the worst team in their conference and one of the worst in the NCAA. Their official debut will be against Long Beach on November 2, although they will play three exhibition games in October against Las Vegas, Nevada and Oregon.

Pedro Llompart said before the start of last season that Langarita would be with the first team from the outset, but the guard played only one ACB game and six in the FIBA Europe Cup. He had to drop down to the U22 team to play regularly in a competition that was clearly too small for him. The situation prompted his departure after it became clear that he would have few opportunities to be part of the first team.
His time at Casademont Zaragoza amounted to 38 ACB games, with the 2023-24 season being the one in which he played the most, totaling 29 appearances. In the FIBA Europe Cup, he played 23 games across three seasons.
