Azón started on the bench and came on in the 73rd minute, replacing Martín Satriano, but it was not a particularly promising debut for the Zaragoza-born striker. The forward touched the ball just five times, won possession once and won one aerial duel during his time on the pitch.
In his defense, Getafe were down to 10 men following Romero's dismissal. However, given the role he is expected to fulfill as a battling striker who wins duels, his first minutes were not especially encouraging.
FRANCHO, SIDELINED
Francho Serrano has made a strong start under Bordalás, having started every match since joining Getafe. However, he was not included in the squad for the latest game against Celta, despite training with the rest of his teammates the previous day.
The former Real Zaragoza captain is carrying a knock and was therefore left out of the match. Francho's first physical setback has come after he played four games for the Azulones.
