Real Murcia’s firepower was soon on full display. After an earlier warning in the form of a shot against the crossbar, Joel Jorquera put the home side ahead in the 17th minute. Teruel were struggling to find their footing and, despite their efforts, faced a much more developed opponent. Their status as a powerful side in the division was evident. The teams went into halftime with the score at 1-0.
SECOND HALF
The Teruel side had held out relatively well, but Real Murcia threw everything into sealing the match. With a long-range effort, Javi Moreno extended the hosts’ lead in the 52' minute. Teruel pushed forward from then on, which suited the Murcia side even more. Cristo made it 3-0 by taking advantage of a counterattack and, just before the 90' minute, Jorquera put the final nail in the Aragonese side’s coffin to make it 4-0.
The match leaves Teruel shaken, having picked up just one point from the opening two rounds. A warning to the rest.
