Casademont Zaragoza will open the competition against Valencia Basket on Saturday, September 26, at 5:15 p.m. at the Jorge Garbajosa Pavilion in Torrejón de Ardoz. The game will be the first major official test for the new Casademont side, which will enter the competition aiming to start the season the same way it ended the previous one: by lifting a trophy.
Opposing them will be a Taronja side arriving at the Super Cup as the reigning Liga Femenina Endesa champions, after defeating Casademont themselves in the final, as well as Copa de la Reina champions. The game will therefore pit the reigning Super Cup champions against the dominant force in Spanish basketball last season.
The other semifinal will be played on the same Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and will see Innova-tsn Leganés, who will be the home team in Torrejón de Ardoz, face Hozono Global Jairis. The winner will become the second finalist in a competition whose decisive game will take place on Sunday, September 27, at 5:00 p.m.
2026 Super Cup matchups and schedule
START OF THE SEASON
Casademont now has the first major date of its new season marked in red on the calendar. The team from Zaragoza, which has already begun its preseason, will have to overcome Valencia Basket to reach a final in which it would seek to retain a title it won last season.
Tickets for the Super Cup are already on sale through the Spanish Basketball Federation, meaning the Red Tide can begin preparing its trip to Torrejón de Ardoz to support Casademont in its bid for the first title of the season.
