Bango suffered the injury at AfroBasket 2025 and is now entering the final stage of his recovery so he can work under Gonzalo García de Vitoria. Therefore, until he receives medical clearance and regains his physical condition after more than a year out, he will not be available to the red-clad side.
HIS GREAT HALF-SEASON IN ZARAGOZA
Bango, who will look to rediscover his best form in Zaragoza, became one of Casademont’s biggest sensations after arriving in the Aragonese capital in the summer of 2024. After a somewhat cautious start to the season, the Angolan emerged as a highly physical and dominant player in the paint, delivering highlight dunks in every game and making a difference for his team on both defense and offense.
Before his departure to Fenerbahçe in February 2025, he averaged 13.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and an impressive 2.1 dunks per game, the highest mark in the domestic competition in the latter category. In addition, Bango was the league’s eighth-highest-rated player, with a rating of 16.1, and was named Player of the Round three times, as well as winning the December MVP award in the Liga Endesa.
