Casademont Zaragoza's leader is here: Trae Bell-Haynes joins preseason

Gonzalo García de Vitoria has added one of his final pieces to preseason, and one of the most important players in the squad is Casademont Zaragoza's new leader, Trae Bell-Haynes. The Canadian arrived in the Aragonese capital on Thursday afternoon to undergo his medical examination and will now join training with the rest of his teammates.

The only player unable to join the rest of the team is Jilson Bango, who is still recovering from injury. The Angolan will not be able to work under the Basque coach until he completes his recovery from his torn ACL this new season.

The Canadian has just taken part in Canada's two victories in the FIBA window against Panama (66-86) and Argentina (97-92). The point guard played an important role in the North Americans' preparations and arrives with game time under his belt, ready to be available as soon as possible for the four remaining friendlies in the Aragonese team's preseason.

As a result, the Basque coach now has eleven of his twelve players available for the second preseason friendly, which will be played this Saturday against La Laguna Tenerife at 6:30 p.m., after Roberts Blumbergs, Nico Brussino and Bell-Haynes joined the team this week.
