Apparent normality at Real Zaragoza with Ander, Diego and Rubo

Real Zaragoza's victory over Juventud de Torremolinos left its mark. The Blanquillos earned three points in a chaotic match that also left three players struggling: Ander, Diego González and Rubo. They trained alongside the other starters on Monday, which is a positive sign, but the club is monitoring how their muscle overload develops. Edu Espiau was the only absentee.

Real Zaragoza's players returned to training on Monday after the long journey back from Torremolinos. The starters took to the field from the beginning of the session, while the substitutes appeared after spending time in the gym. In other words, despite the split schedule, the entire available squad was theoretically called to Training Ground 5 at the Ciudad Deportiva.

The starters from the match against Juventud de Torremolinos were the main focus. Those who had gone off injured were there: Ander Herrera, Diego González and Rubén Iranzo. All three took part in the recovery session scheduled by Real Zaragoza from 12:30 p.m.

For now, according to the official version provided by the club, they are suffering only from muscle overload. However, their progress remains under observation. Throughout the week, Real Zaragoza is expected to test the players and assess their recovery day by day.

EDU ESPIAU MISSING

Edu Espiau was the only player absent from Monday's post-match recovery session. He remains sidelined with muscle discomfort that has prevented him from working alongside his teammates since last Thursday. He has not trained with Real Zaragoza since then.

On Monday, he was not part of the Real Zaragoza group made up of players who played fewer minutes or did not play at all. The striker therefore continues to suffer physical problems that prevent him from working on the field, unlike the players dealing with overload.

REAL ZARAGOZA'S WEEK

Real Zaragoza will have Tuesday off, with a return to training at the Ciudad Deportiva scheduled for Wednesday. That is when the Aragonese team will begin preparing for the match against Cartagena, set for Sunday at 8:30 p.m.

According to the weekly schedule, training will take place at the Ciudad Deportiva on both Thursday and Friday, while Saturday afternoon's session will be held at Ibercaja Estadio. Just 24 hours before the day Real Zaragoza must return to winning ways.
