The call includes 13 Código Escuela 4.0 courses, with 520 places, and another four STEAM-focused courses, with 90 places. The offer covers topics such as computational thinking, robotics in early childhood education, coding, home automation and smart agriculture, with proposals that foster creativity, logical reasoning and problem-solving. In addition, 17 courses focus on the STEAM methodology and the Código Escuela 4.0 program.
TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION
This initiative continues the momentum behind Código Escuela 4.0 and the work carried out with training coordinators for the use of technology in learning (COFOTAP), who take part in seminars at Aragón’s Teacher Training Centers to promote the pedagogical integration of technology.
The offer also includes improvements to the courses accrediting teachers’ B2-level digital competence. They retain their 70-hour duration while extending the completion period to one semester. CATEDU also plans to test voluntary synchronous tutoring sessions in some courses.
The aim is for innovation and technology to lead to real improvements in teaching practice and higher-quality education, with more learning opportunities for all students in Aragón.
