As was the case on Tuesday, in the session that marked the return to training after two days off, the Zaragoza midfielder began the workout alongside the rest of his teammates. Terrer continues to test himself on the pitch to assess how he feels and maximize his chances of being available for a match that is particularly significant on Zaragoza’s calendar.
This comes after the academy graduate was a last-minute absentee against Villarreal B in the previous round due to a quadriceps microtear. Although he has started both training sessions alongside his teammates, the injury means Terrer remains a serious doubt for the clash with Huesca, in which Ibai Gómez will be unable to call on Tobajas because of suspension.
CRUCIAL MATCH
Real Zaragoza therefore have two more training sessions ahead of them to complete preparations for a crucial clash with Huesca, in which the Aragonese side will look to return to winning ways as they continue fighting for top spot in Group 2 of Primera RFEF. That position is currently occupied by Villarreal B, who have the same number of points as the Aragonese side—21—but a better goal difference.
Meanwhile, Huesca resumed training on Wednesday to prepare for their visit to the Ibercaja Stadium. The Azulgrana side head into the derby after securing their first league win since Albert Rudé took charge on Monday against Nàstic de Tarragona (2-0), in what was their best performance of the season.
