"All Ceuta residents are living a nightmare and we hope it is resolved as soon as possible because patience is running out. People are living with anguish, fear and apprehension because at any moment anyone could lose their temper and cause problems," Nayim said.
Regarding violent behavior, however, the former footballer made it clear that Ceuta's society is not peaceful: "We are a very peaceful city. Four cultures coexist across 18 square kilometers in harmony, tranquility and respect."
Finally, Nayim pleaded with politicians to take measures so that the autonomous city can return to normal. "What we want is for them to act quickly and effectively so that we can get our lives back," he concluded.
