Luis Moya, the festival's co-director and head of programming, said that "after considering various options, we have decided to bring the festival forward in order to bring the best groups on the current music scene to Barbastro." As PolifoniK Sound points out, "creating a lineup like ours is not easy, but an edition marking our 18th anniversary deserves the best possible lineup, and the best possible lineup can only take place on June 24, 25 and 26."
Meanwhile, Iván Arana, the festival's co-director, added: "Despite any inconvenience this may cause, it will be well worth it. We are very excited about everything that is to come. Of course, we are grateful for the understanding, trust and support of the audience that has accompanied us throughout these 18 years."
FOR THOSE WISHING TO REQUEST A REFUND
Before issuing the official statement, PolifoniK Sound informed those who already hold passes and wish to request a refund about the date change. It also confirmed that purchased passes remain valid under the same conditions that applied at the time of purchase.
The first names on the PolifoniK Sound 2027 lineup will be announced on Thursday, November 5, along with further information about the 18th edition. As has become customary, the first passes went on sale to the general public last July completely "blind," meaning before the artists were revealed.
