The deadline for submitting applications is September 25. This call is part of the strategy of the Hub Defensa Aragón, an initiative created to boost the region's industrial and technological capabilities through public-private collaboration, taking advantage of its particular strengths as a leading industrial and technological hub. The ecosystem is working along two main lines: strengthening companies' production and technological capabilities and, secondly, raising awareness of those capabilities and facilitating business development.
As part of this framework, various training and business support initiatives from the Aragon Institute for Development (IAF) have been launched during 2025 and 2026. These include the IAF Diverdef program, aimed at SMEs with dual-use potential; the IAF Growth program, designed to help companies already operating in the sector access new markets; and the IAF Certification and Approval program, intended to support companies with defense registries, certifications and quality systems, among other areas.
These actions are being developed in collaboration with AREX, the Aragon Institute for Development (IAF) and the Directorate-General for Industry, with the aim of facilitating contact between Aragonese companies and leading companies, potential clients and new markets. Through this set of measures, the Government of Aragon seeks to provide companies with comprehensive support combining training, skills development, business support and financing, strengthening the region's position in a strategic sector.
