ZARAGOZA AMONG THE PROVINCES WITH THE SHARPEST RISES
The increase was particularly pronounced in Zaragoza province, where used home prices rose 16.9% compared with August 2025. This was the fifth-largest provincial increase in Spain, behind Toledo, Burgos, Cantabria and Valencia. Nationwide, 49 provinces recorded year-on-year increases.
TERUEL REMAINS AMONG THE CHEAPEST PROVINCES
By contrast, Teruel remains one of the most affordable provinces for buying a used home, with an average price of 888 euros per square metre. Only Ciudad Real, at 857 euros, and Jaén, at 879 euros, recorded lower prices, while Cuenca was slightly higher, at 902 euros per square metre.
Nationwide, used home prices reached 2,924 euros per square metre in August, 12.5% more than a year earlier. However, prices fell 0.3% compared with July, ending a run of 43 consecutive months of monthly increases.
