The special lighting will take place between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., during which time the city’s fountains will replace their usual lighting with the color yellow. The initiative is a collaboration between Zaragoza City Council and the hospitals as part of the various awareness activities planned throughout the week.
Sarcoma encompasses a group of tumors that can develop in both bone tissue and the body’s soft tissues. The events organized by Clínico and Servet aim to raise the profile of a lesser-known type of cancer and promote public awareness.
In this way, Zaragoza’s fountains will become another element of this awareness campaign tonight, with yellow as the main color. The lighting can be viewed for two hours, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., as a gesture of support for the initiatives developed by Zaragoza’s hospitals around sarcoma.
