Volveremos Furniture Special in Zaragoza: 44 Stores and Up to €100 in Credit

Renovating your living room, replacing your mattress or buying a new table could be slightly cheaper this week in Zaragoza. The “Volveremos” furniture special returns from September 28 to October 3, offering 15% in credit for future purchases at 44 participating stores. This is the third time the Zaragoza Furniture Stores Association (Acomza) has launched the initiative with its own funding and the collaboration of Zaragoza City Council.

Last year, sales at participating stores exceeded €1 million thanks to the 830 transactions made by 700 users. Meanwhile, more than €60,000 accumulated in the app’s wallets.

Following last year’s success, Acomza and the City Council have decided to launch a new edition, presented this Friday by the association’s president, Mariano Barbés; the councillor for Economy, Digital Transformation and Transparency, Carlos Gimeno; and the Aragonese government’s director general of Commerce, Carmen Herrarte, as the initiative is being held throughout the autonomous community, with a total of 54 establishments, 44 of them located in the Aragonese capital.

This professional association is the first to have promoted a Volveremos campaign through public-private collaboration, providing all the funding itself. Thus, between September 28 and October 3, customers who shop at participating stores in the sector will accumulate 15% of the total amount spent in their wallets, up to a limit of €100. The credit accumulated in their wallets can be spent until December 31 at the 2,300 businesses that form part of the network, meaning the initiative’s impact extends beyond the campaign and is reinvested in the commercial sector.

Economy councillor Carlos Gimeno recalled that this is an example of the major impact of public-private collaboration, an alliance that has boosted commerce in a sector supported by small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed workers. He added that they continue working to get the most out of Volveremos.

Acomza generated sales worth more than €1 million last March, producing nearly €67,000 in credit and marking a milestone in the history of this municipal program by becoming the first campaign funded with private money. For 12 days, customers could also receive credit equivalent to 15% of the value of their purchases, with more than 1,000 total sales.

RECORD BACK-TO-SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

This campaign follows the success of ‘La Vuelta al Cole’, which ended last week after seven days of intense activity in small businesses. In total, nearly 66,523 families made purchases worth €19,372,000, an increase compared with the 2025 back-to-school campaign, when sales reached €17,188,000.

Adding the impact of the first edition of Volveremos, held last June, the figures show that 84,500 unique users made purchases related to Volveremos at participating businesses, generating €34,915,000 in sales. As for the number of establishments, more than 2,100 businesses have already made sales related to Volveremos during 2026, extending the program’s impact across the city’s commercial sector, Gimeno said.

“The fact that more than 2,100 establishments have recorded a sale linked to the program this year demonstrates the reach of this initiative and its ability to generate activity in small businesses,” Gimeno said. He highlighted that behind every purchase there is a local business that “maintains its activity,” creates jobs and helps enliven the life of our neighborhoods.

Finally, he encouraged people to spend the amount stored in the app’s wallets. So far, €801,420 has been used in 2026, meaning €1.7 million remains available for purchases made until December 31, when the period ends.
