The project is still in its early stages, with construction about to begin. Several months remain to transform a venue spanning hundreds of square meters into a new Voltereta universe, although it will still be some time before its appearance is revealed.
One of the main questions, however, remains unanswered: ¿what part of the world will Voltereta travel to this time? The company has not yet disclosed either the name or the theme of its second restaurant in Zaragoza and plans to keep it secret until its opening draws closer. If there are no unforeseen setbacks, the goal is to open its doors in 2027.

What is already known is where it will be located. For its second arrival in Zaragoza, Voltereta has chosen number 64 on Azoque Street, in the heart of the city. It is a very different location from that of its first venue and one that will strengthen the company's presence in the Aragonese capital.
Choosing Zaragoza for a second location is no minor move within the company's growth plans. The city will become the first outside Valencia to have two Voltereta restaurants. The company currently has four venues in Valencia and is also present in Alicante, Seville, Córdoba and Zaragoza. With the opening of this second Zaragoza venue, its network will reach nine restaurants in Spain.
FROM A WATERFALL AND LAKE TO A NEW DESTINATION
To trace the origins of the relationship between Voltereta and Zaragoza, one must go back to August 2024. That was when the company opened its first venue in the city, at number 4 on La Salle Street, near San Francisco Square.
Its arrival generated excitement even before the opening. Little by little, some of the features planned for the interior became known, until it was revealed that Zaragoza would have a restaurant complete with a waterfall and lake. The result was Voltereta New Zealand, a space recreating a large forest inspired by elves and magic, where the setting became a fundamental part of the experience.
