The chain’s arrival in Zaragoza was announced last June. The project represents an investment of more than four million euros and is part of the company’s expansion plans in Spain, where it aims to reach 40 clubs over the next decade.
The company has now revealed some of the features that will set the Delicias facility apart. These include a dedicated recovery area, a concept Gold’s Gym says it will introduce in one of its clubs for the first time in its 61-year history.
SAUNA, COLD WATER AND MUSCLE RECOVERY
This area will include a high-temperature dry sauna, cold plunge pools for immersion and an infrared light space, as well as massage guns and pressotherapy systems designed to support muscle training and recovery.
Pressotherapy systems will be available
The gym will also offer a professional system for analyzing body composition, with indicators such as muscle mass, body fat percentage and body distribution. The aim is for users to compare these figures and track their progress as they advance in their training.
These will not be the only new features, however. The facility will have a Fuel Bar offering drinks, coffee, food and prepared products, integrated into the social area.
A SPACE TO TRAIN... AND WORK TOO
One of the most notable features will be outside the main training area. The facility will include a coworking and social area with work and study stations, meeting spaces, internet access and individual soundproof booths for calls and videoconferences.
The cold plunge pools will allow full immersion
The company is thus planning a gym where people can train and continue their work or study day without leaving the facility. There will also be a meeting area for eating, getting together or spending time with other users.
The project marks a further step beyond the first details revealed in June, when it was already announced that the gym would have a larger training area, advanced biomechanics equipment and more machines aimed at reducing waiting times.
MEMBERSHIP FEES
For now, Gold’s Gym is continuing the presale of its Zaragoza facility. According to figures provided by the company, the first 200 promotional memberships have already sold out, and a second batch of 200 has been opened, with an advertised fee of 47.95 euros every four weeks.
