"I love seeing Zaragoza experience Christmas with excitement and magic again," the mayor said. However, beyond confirming the date, she provided no further details about how the ceremony will take place or its exact location.
It is worth noting that last year’s ceremony was held in Plaza España for the first time ever. It remains to be seen whether the city will choose that location again or return to the tradition of holding it in Plaza del Pilar, which was the heart of the celebrations for many years.
THIS YEAR'S NEW FEATURES
Natalia Chueca reiterated that switching on the lights and everything surrounding Christmas is very important to residents because of the significance of the holiday season. To that end, improvements have been carried out, including the lights on Calle Alfonso, renovations along Paseo Independencia and work in Plaza San Miguel.
There will also be the tree in Plaza Aragón, the Parque Grande with its giant angels, and the Virgen del Pilar de Monge light umbrella. All of them will decorate Zaragoza as the city prepares for November 27.
