The session will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Actur neighborhood park and continue until 1:00 p.m., with free and open access. The first activity will be Ignite Strike, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., a dynamic workout session followed by Zumba Latino, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with dancing and music taking center stage. In total, there will be two and a half hours of activities aimed at bringing sport to the city’s public spaces.
This second event follows the program’s launch on September 19 at the Winter Garden in José Antonio Labordeta Park. That first session included a cycling class with a live DJ, a Zumdance class and a DEKA pairs final. The program now moves to Teresa Perales Park with new activities to promote outdoor exercise.
MORE FREE SPORTS EVENTS IN ZARAGOZA THROUGH MAY 2027
The Fitness in the Parks initiative is part of the program promoted by Zaragoza City Council on the occasion of the city’s European Capital of Sport status in 2027. The aim is to take fitness out of gyms, bring it closer to different neighborhoods and offer free alternatives to promote healthy lifestyles.
After the event at Teresa Perales Park, the next session will take place on November 14 at the Geodesic Dome in La Granja Park, the last one of the year. The program will continue in 2027 with three more dates: March 13 at the Delicias Park Amphitheater, April 10 at Plaza Mayor in San José and May 8 at the North Station in the Arrabal neighborhood.
In this way, Zaragoza will continue bringing free sports to parks and squares in the coming months, with activities open to the public and designed to encourage physical exercise in different parts of the city.
