The initiative is part of the “Zaragoza Vino Somontano” campaign, organized by the Somontano Designation of Origin with the support of Aragón Sabor de Verdad and funding from the Government of Aragon. Organizers described the first event in Zaragoza as “a great success,” both in terms of attendance and participants’ satisfaction with the arrival of this type of activity in the city.
During the event, attendees were able to sample tapas prepared by Massala, Brutal, Quesos de Radiquero, Maitai, La Jaula de Grillos, Julián Mairal and IberJabugo, accompanied by a selection of wines from the Fábregas, Enate, Viñas del Vero, Pirineos, Laus, Abinasa, Sommos, Meler, Alodia, Sers, Monte Odina, Mipanas, El Grillo y la Luna, Idrias and Leo & Niné Wines wineries.
Music completed the program with performances by the D Versiones group and DJ Íñigo Perled, from Estudio 54, who added rhythm to a day dedicated to Somontano’s products and wines.
The program will continue next Saturday, October 3, with “Maridaje Sonoro,” an event to be held at Sala Oasis in Zaragoza. The session, which has already sold out, will bring together wine and music with Jesús Bombín, Radio 3’s “music selector,” and Meritxell Falgueras, a sommelier and communicator specializing in the world of wine.
