Paseo de Independencia loses one of its most iconic stores: “What a shame”

Paseo de Independencia is saying goodbye to one of its most iconic stores: Paco Perfumerías. The chain, which has been in business for 30 years and operates several locations across the Aragonese capital, is now closing one of its best-known shops, considered by many Zaragoza residents to be “the one that has always been there.”

The store is located at number 9 Paseo de Independencia, one of Zaragoza’s main shopping thoroughfares. However, it is not the company’s only outlet in the city, as it also has stores on Paseo de Sagasta and Calle Alfonso I.

THE STORE FOR MANY ZARAGOZA RESIDENTS

There is no doubt that the closure of this iconic store, located in the heart of Zaragoza, represents a significant loss for many Zaragoza residents, who for years have regarded it as a landmark business.

“What a shame” is one of the most repeated phrases among those who used to visit the store in search of their favorite colognes or any of the many other products it offered. The sense of nostalgia reflects the affection Zaragoza residents feel for a store that has been part of the city’s commercial life for years.

PERFUMES, COSMETICS AND MUCH MORE

Paco Perfumerías stands out not only for its wide range of perfumes and fragrances from different brands, but also for offering cosmetics, makeup, facial and body care products, as well as other beauty and personal hygiene items.

Although the closure of its store on Paseo de Independencia marks the farewell to a shop that many Zaragoza residents regularly visited, the chain still has other locations in the Aragonese capital. Those wishing to continue buying their favorite products can visit its stores at number 22 Calle Alfonso I and number 3 Paseo de Sagasta.
