The work is part of a project worth almost 1.25 million euros that will allow work to be carried out on 32 streets across the city before the end of the year. In total, 32,809 square metres of road surface will be renewed, with an estimated completion period of six weeks.
Paseo Cuéllar alone accounts for more than half of the 5,178 square metres to be renewed in San José. This work will be joined by projects planned for Joaquín Sorolla Street, covering 1,221 square metres, and Ganivet Street, covering a further 897.
WORK ACROSS SEVERAL DISTRICTS OF ZARAGOZA
The renewal will not consist solely of laying a new layer of asphalt. The project includes preliminary milling to a depth of five centimetres, as well as repair work at points where the road surface is particularly deteriorated. In addition, utility access covers will be inspected to correct unevenness and reduce the noise they cause when vehicles drive over them.
