Businesses that manage their application through Horeca Zaragoza will be eligible for a 40% discount on the municipal fee. The organization also handles the application with the City Council and provides establishments with advice throughout the process.
To complete the process by the deadline, hospitality businesses must send the required documentation to Horeca before October 23. All the information and procedures are available at veladoreszaragoza.com.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
The documents establishments must submit include the completed and signed application form, including authorization for Horeca to carry out the procedure with Zaragoza City Council; the opening or operating license, or the application for it if it has not yet been granted; and a dimensioned terrace plan prepared by a qualified technician, together with a certificate confirming compliance with the Municipal Outdoor Seating Ordinance.
In certain cases, establishments must also provide authorization from neighboring businesses when the terrace occupies part of their facade, as well as the relevant authorization when the terrace is located on privately owned land for public use. In this regard, Horeca notes that it can provide a contact for businesses without a technician or engineer to prepare the plan and certificate.
