Iryo cancels four trains between Madrid and Barcelona via Zaragoza this Wednesday

Passengers planning to travel by high-speed train to or from Zaragoza this Wednesday, October 14, should watch for possible changes. Iryo has canceled four trains on the Madrid-Barcelona route, which passes through the Aragonese capital, due to traffic restrictions resulting from a fire on a Renfe train in Ricla, Zaragoza.

THESE ARE THE CANCELED TRAINS

In the Madrid-Barcelona direction, train 6081, scheduled to depart Madrid at 8:22 a.m., has been canceled, and its passengers will be distributed between services 6091 and 6281. Train 6161, scheduled for 4:37 p.m., has also been suspended, and its passengers will be rebooked onto trains 6151 and 6171.

In the opposite direction, Iryo has canceled train 6320 from Barcelona to Madrid, scheduled for 12:14 p.m., and its passengers will be transferred to services 6130 and 6014. Train 6190, departing Barcelona at 6:53 p.m., will also be affected, with its passengers transferred to service 6200.

The disruption caused by the fire on a Renfe train in Ricla continues to affect high-speed traffic along this corridor and has led Adif to request adjustments from the railway companies.

Iryo is informing affected passengers through its usual channels. Those who are not satisfied with the alternative offered may change or cancel their ticket and receive a full refund.
