Following its first edition on September 6, the market is returning with several new features. These include workshops focused on floral art and dog care, as well as a demonstration to complete the program. It is a different way to enjoy the city and take part in an event that will not go unnoticed.
WHAT MAKES EL JARDÍN DEL GANCHO SPECIAL
This market brings together two major attractions for many residents of Zaragoza: flowers and animals. Pet product brands and various animal shelters will be taking part. The participating associations will have stalls selling items from their charity shops, as well as Christmas lottery tickets, with the aim of raising funds for the care and welfare of the animals in their charge.
In addition, ten florists from Zaragoza will also attend this new edition of the market, offering a wide variety of plants, flowers and even small trees. It is an opportunity to discover different floral arrangements and bring a touch of color and nature to any corner of the home.
WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES TO ENJOY THAT DAY
This second edition comes with several new features, including workshops and activities that will take place in the amphitheater of Espacio Xior. The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a plant workshop and continue at 11:30 a.m. with a talk on essential pet care. Then, at 12:30 p.m., a dog trainer will give a presentation with advice and guidelines for training dogs.
One of the day’s most anticipated moments will arrive at 1:30 p.m. with an agility demonstration, a canine sport in which dogs must complete an obstacle course featuring tunnels, jumps and walkways, guided by their owners and testing their speed, skill and coordination. Finally, another plant workshop will take place at 2:15 p.m.
OPENING HOURS, DATE AND LOCATION FOR EL JARDÍN DEL GANCHO
El Jardín del Gancho and its Flower and Pet Market will take place on Sunday, October 25, after the originally scheduled date, October 4, had to be postponed due to weather conditions. The event will therefore return on the last Sunday of the month with a day full of activities for all audiences.
The market will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Plaza José María Forqué, in central Zaragoza, where visitors will be able to browse the various flower and pet product stalls, take part in the workshops and enjoy the scheduled demonstrations.
