San José, El Rabal, Oliver-Valdefierro, Actur-Rey Fernando and Las Fuentes top the list. Together, they account for 17,234 square meters, more than half of the total area planned in this second phase, which the City Council expects to complete within six weeks.

The operation also includes complementary work such as adapting 21 manhole covers, replacing another 33 and carrying out 655 square meters of deep repairs in the most deteriorated areas. Zaragoza City Council's aim is to improve road conditions and traffic safety while reducing rolling noise.

SAN JOSÉ, THE AREA WITH THE MOST ASPHALT RENEWAL

San José will be the district with the largest area renewed, covering 5,178 square meters. The work will be divided between Paseo Cuéllar, which accounts for 3,060 m², Calle Joaquín Sorolla, with 1,221, and Calle Ganivet, with a further 897 square meters.

It will be followed by El Rabal, Zaragoza's second-largest area in terms of planned work, with 4,363 square meters. The largest project will be carried out on Calle Valle de Oza, where 3,145 m² will be renewed, while work on Lacruz Berdejo will cover another 1,218.

Next come Oliver-Valdefierro, with 2,892 square meters; Actur-Rey Fernando, with 2,464; and Las Fuentes, with 2,337. In the first, asphalt will be laid on Calle Gómez de Segura, Calle Francisca Millán and Calle Marte; in Actur, the work will focus on Calle Octavio Paz; and in Las Fuentes, on Calle Eugenia Bueso.
