It is the bar ¡A Tope!, a venue that has built its own identity around handmade tapas, music and cultural activities. It is a space far removed from more conventional formulas, and that character has become one of its main distinguishing features. Now, the Zaragoza Association of Cafés and Bars has announced on its website that the business is being transferred due to illness.
That character is also reflected in the opinions of those who have visited. In recent reviews, customers highlight the good atmosphere, tapas and live music, as well as the service they received. “An excellent place, the food is delicious and unique in the city, the venue is very welcoming and the cultural events are very interesting,” one customer says. Others focus on the originality of the handmade tapas, the decor and the venue’s tranquillity, while one customer describes it as “an excellent place for weekend tapas.”
THIS IS THE BAR BEING TRANSFERRED ON CALLE HEROÍSMO
The listing published by the Zaragoza Association of Cafés and Bars sets the transfer price at €35,000, while the rent is €605 per month. The venue has a permanent license and comprises 90 square meters of built space and 80 square meters of usable space.
Inside, it can accommodate 41 people, in addition to 11 seats on the outdoor terrace. It is located at street level, has a storefront and is equipped with air conditioning and heating.
In addition, the business already has much of the infrastructure needed to continue operating. The main floor has two ovens, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher, two refrigerators and a freezer. The storage area, meanwhile, has refrigerators, a chest freezer and a cold-cuts slicer.
The license allows the business to remain open until 1:30 a.m. on weekdays and until 2:30 a.m. on public holidays, according to information released by the hospitality association.
In this way, the transfer opens the door to a new chapter for this venue on Calle Heroísmo, with premises that are already equipped and ready to continue operating in one of central Zaragoza’s best-known tapas areas.
