The ATM will be installed by Caja Rural de Aragón, which also opened a new branch in Valdespartera on Tuesday. The new branch is located at number 25 Calle Luces de la Ciudad and has already begun providing services. With this opening, the bank now has 30 branches in Zaragoza.
Both initiatives are taking place in one of the areas of the Aragonese capital that has grown the most in recent years. Valdespartera and Arcosur are home to a predominantly young population and have experienced significant residential development, a trend that has increased demand for local services. In Arcosur, the ATM marks the arrival of the neighborhood’s first financial service.
A SERVICE REQUESTED BY LOCAL RESIDENTS
The new ATM will allow residents to carry out everyday banking transactions without leaving the neighborhood, a request that residents and their associations have been making for years. The service is also intended to meet the needs of the area’s growing number of shops, professionals and businesses, which until now had limited access to nearby financial services.
The Valdespartera branch is aimed particularly at a population made up largely of young families, offering services related to home financing and access to a first home. The bank also plans to organize financial education activities and initiatives linked to school sports and the Carné Joven de Aragón youth card.
The initiatives are part of Caja Rural de Aragón’s Altair Strategic Plan, which includes expanding its presence in areas with demographic growth and economic activity. The bank has also announced various commercial initiatives linked to the opening of the Valdespartera branch.
