Teruel's presence was rounded out by a tourist stand showcasing the capital's main attractions, with a special focus on Modernism. The examples presented during the fair included buildings such as La Madrileña, Casa de Tejidos El Torico, Casa Ferrán, Casa Escriche and Casa de Doña Blanca.
The Teruel City Council's Tourism Department and the Bodas de Isabel Foundation have described the promotional initiative as a success, considering Modernism one of the city's tourist attractions that generates the greatest interest among visitors.
TERUEL PREPARES FOR ITS MODERNIST WEEK
Participation in Alcoy also served as a prelude to Teruel's Modernist Week, which will be held next November. For the occasion, volunteers from the Bodas de Isabel Foundation have brought back top hats, parasols and period costumes used in this type of re-enactment.
This year's edition of the Alcoy Modernist Fair was dedicated to composer Gonzalo Barrachina, author of the music for the Festivities Anthem and one of the figures associated with Alcoy's cultural life between the 19th and 20th centuries.
