In addition to La Puebla de Valverde, the light level II earthquake (the second-lowest level) was also felt in Sarrión, Formiche Alto and the provincial capital itself. According to Aragón's 112 emergency service, no "incidents" related to the quake have been reported.
The National Geographic Institute is asking people who felt the tremor early this morning to complete a questionnaire made available by the institution in such cases. The questionnaire seeks to determine how the earthquake was felt in each locality. It asks where the person was at the time, whether they were inside a building, outdoors or in a vehicle, whether they were asleep and how intensely they felt the movement. It also allows respondents to indicate whether noises were heard, whether anyone was frightened or went outside, and how many people nearby perceived the tremor.
In addition, the IGN asks about the effects on objects and buildings, such as lamps swinging and the movement or falling of objects, pictures, doors, windows, furniture or small appliances. The form also includes a section to report possible damage, ranging from small cracks or fallen plaster to damage to windows, chimneys, roof tiles or walls.
