All Saints’ Day is celebrated every year on November 1, but in 2026 the date falls on a Sunday. For this reason, the public holiday has been moved to Monday, November 2, as set out in the autonomous community’s work calendar. The break will therefore run from Saturday, October 31, through Monday, November 2.
Beyond the work calendar, All Saints’ Day is a tradition-filled occasion in Aragón. During this period, many families visit cemeteries to remember their loved ones and lay flowers on their graves. It is also common to find seasonal sweets in pastry shops, such as huesos de santo and buñuelos de viento.
WHICH PUBLIC HOLIDAYS REMAIN IN ARAGÓN UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR?
In addition to All Saints’ Day, Aragón’s work calendar still includes three other public holidays before 2026 comes to an end. These are the remaining dates:
November 2 (Monday): day off following the transfer of All Saints’ Day, which falls on Sunday, November 1. December 7 (Monday): day off following the transfer of Spain’s Constitution Day, celebrated on Sunday, December 6. December 8 (Tuesday): Immaculate Conception. December 25 (Friday): Christmas Day.
