Representatives of various social organizations also took part in the event, including the director of the SAICA Foundation, Beatriz Giménez; the director general of the Rey Ardid Foundation, Maite Albájez; the vice-president of Atades, Antonio Rodríguez; and the president of the ADISLAF Foundation, Francisco López.

TRAINING TO MEET THE NEEDS OF SOCIAL SERVICES

Francisco de Asís González argued that high-quality public training must be connected to people’s real needs. In this regard, he pointed to the DIRYGESS Master's program as an example of collaboration between the Government of Aragón and the University of Zaragoza to train professionals specialized in the leadership and management of social services.

“The program we are inaugurating today is not an isolated academic qualification, but the result of great dedication, knowledge, and collaboration and support from the Department and the University of Zaragoza,” he said. He explained that one of its main objectives is to provide training that prepares professionals to take on management responsibilities in the field of social services.

The director general added that the Master's program responds both to the sector’s current needs and to state and regional regulatory requirements. He also highlighted its academic program and the profile of its teaching staff, which combines experience and knowledge in different subjects. “You only have to look at the program to see its content, which brings together tradition and innovation,” he said to the students beginning this eighth edition.
