Sweet opening draws queues to Plaza de los Sitios: cheesecakes from €3.50

Excitement was evident this Saturday in Zaragoza's Plaza de los Sitios. Dozens of people, from young adults to older customers, queued outside number 16 to visit the city's first Las Tartas de Julita shop. The opening came with an added incentive: the first 100 customers could receive a free portion of one of the brand's popular cheesecakes.

The brand, which has gained popularity particularly through social media, has arrived in the Aragonese capital for the first time. Its arrival had generated interest in the days leading up to the opening, and the response was clear from the outset, with customers waiting their turn to enter the shop and try one of the flavors on its menu.

The varieties announced for the first day included Oreo, Mercadona Cereals and Tostarica with White Nocilla cheesecakes, with portions starting at €3.50. In addition to the 100 free portions, the company had prepared fans to hand out to people visiting the new shop during the day.

MORE THAN 100 CHEESECAKE FLAVORS

Las Tartas de Julita bases much of its offering on a menu of more than 100 flavors, although the options available vary between regular recipes, original creations and limited editions. According to the company itself, all the cheesecakes are made by hand every day.

The Zaragoza opening marks another step in the expansion of a brand founded in Alicante by Julia Sala Bertomeu. With this shop, it now has 21 stores in Spain, comprising company-owned locations and franchises, and maintains a community of more than 12,000 social media followers.

The Zaragoza shop is located in one of the city's most central areas, Plaza de los Sitios. The interior also features a work from the Miss Laura collection, an artistic collaboration that forms part of the image the company is introducing in its stores.

The queue that formed on its first day reflects the interest generated by the brand's arrival in Zaragoza. After becoming known for its flavor combinations and social media presence, Las Tartas de Julita is now opening a new chapter in the Aragonese capital with its first physical store.
