The match will be the first league meeting between the two clubs. Until now, Zaragoza and Teruel had mainly faced each other in friendly matches. Ibai Gómez's Real Zaragoza head into the game after taking 12 of the last 15 points and with the chance to claim a fifth consecutive win. They will face a CD Teruel side looking for its first victory of the season.

“LA JORNADA” TAKES OVER AFTER THE DERBY

After the final whistle, a new edition of ‘La Jornada’ will begin, featuring Pedro Hernández and the program's full team of commentators. The show will review and analyze the results of the Aragonese teams, the key moments of the matchday and the reactions of those involved.

CASADEMONT WOMEN OPEN THE LEAGUE AGAINST ESTEPONA

Basketball will also play a prominent role from midday. At 12:15 p.m., Casademont Zaragoza women will host Impulso 360 Estepona at Príncipe Felipe in the opening round of the Liga Femenina Endesa. The Zaragoza team thus begins a new league campaign after officially opening the season with the Super Cup.

Aragón Radio's sports coverage will continue at 2:15 p.m. from El Alcoraz with SD Huesca-CE Europa, a Primera Federación fixture. Huesca go into the match with six points from their first five games and aiming to return to winning ways after last weekend's draw against CD Teruel. Europa will arrive in Huesca sitting in the lower part of the table.

At 5:00 p.m., Aragón Radio will switch from football to basketball to broadcast Casademont Zaragoza-Valencia Basket, one of the biggest games of the second round of the 2026-27 Liga Endesa. Príncipe Felipe will therefore host an afternoon of top-level basketball before Aragonese football takes center stage again with the evening derby.
