A FULL DAY OF ACTIVITIES
One of the central moments will be the presentation of the 2026 Juan Aroca Award for the Best Master’s Thesis, worth 1,000 euros. The award has gone to industrial engineer Pablo Castellanos Carnicero for his thesis, "Design and development of an experimental facility for evaluating heat-transfer fluids and PCM emulsions: Cooling high-power computing systems."
The runner-up prize, worth 300 euros, will go to Óscar Marquina Martín for his thesis, "Analysis, comparison and validation of a low-cost non-resonant boost inverter for domestic induction applications."
The program will also include the presentation of a new edition of the Mastering Awards, created to promote talent and creativity among young engineers from the University of Zaragoza and La Rioja.
The event will conclude with various activities on the College’s rooftop, located in Zaragoza’s Plaza de España, including a DJ performance and the premiere of the third season of the video podcast "Ingeniando," produced by the students themselves.
