“ZARAGOZA VINO SOMONTANO” is an opportunity to enjoy the wines and wineries of the designation of origin through three different initiatives, including two original pairings and the arrival of "Somontano en Ruta", which is coming to Zaragoza for the first time, once again celebrating life on one of the most central streets in the Aragonese capital.

The large-scale event will be held in the city center with free admission, while the other two will take place at iconic venues in Zaragoza with limited capacity. Tickets for these two events can be obtained, while spaces remain, through a fun quiz on the website.
THE EVENT’S THREE INITIATIVES
On Thursday, September 17, at 9 p.m., this special pairing will take place at the Zaragoza Film Library, featuring broadcaster and wine expert Mariano Navascués and film critic and short-film director Dani Calavera. It is a fresh and entertaining format that pairs film characters with different wines. On this occasion, and for the first time in Zaragoza, the tasting will be held in a movie theater. A unique “cinematic” pairing with limited capacity for 100 people.
An event centered on gastronomy and, of course, wine, where life will be celebrated. This is the fourth year that "Somontano en Ruta" has traveled to different locations across Aragon, so far in the province of Huesca, and this year it is coming to Zaragoza for the first time. Music, tapas and wine will fill the morning of Saturday, September 26, on Calle Segismundo Moret, in the heart of the city.
Different stands will be set up along the street, offering wines and tapas accompanied by live music and renowned DJs. The wineries Fábregas, Enate, Viñas del Vero, Pirineos, Laus, Abinasa, Sommos, Meler, Alodia, Sers, Monte Odina, Mipanas, El Grillo y la Luna, Idrias and Leo & Niné Wines will showcase the magic and personality of DO Somontano, defined by its location at the foot of the Huesca mountains, while the gastronomic offering will be provided by Massala, Brutal, Quesos de Radiquero, Maita, La Jaula de Grillos, Julián Mairal and IberJabugo.
A pairing is the harmonious union of two elements. Both wine and music can be described in different ways, making it possible to discover the wine best enjoyed with a song, and vice versa. Jesús Bombín, a “music selector” on Radio 3, and Meritxell Falgueras, a sommelier and wine communicator, will accompany this wonderful journey through Somontano wine and music.
An entertaining and engaging session will guide attendees in discovering the fantastic interaction between wine and music through a journey involving different wines, varieties, styles and musical groups. This music and wine pairing, limited to 100 people, will take place on Saturday, October 3, at noon at Sala Oasis in Zaragoza.
